Once a month we get to play Willy Wonka of bacon and boy do we take advantage of it!
Here's what we've got cooking for May:
- Garlic Basil: The fresh herbs are finally blooming again and we're oh so ready to bid farewell to winter with this fresh take on a savory bacon. We take garlic, tons of fresh basil, some parsley and spices and rub our applewood bacon down to create a hearty and fresh bacon that's amazing with steaks and in your salads, crumbled.
- Chile Margarita: The month kicks of with Cinco De Mayo, and we like to keep the party in your mouth going all month long. Our homemade margarita mix gets spiked with hot chili's and then rimmed with pink Himalayan salt. It's a bacon that's so full of flavor we just eat it the classic way; one strip at a time.
